  1. I'm not sure that even then that they could coast. The lower seeds get better every year. For example, here are the current 8/9 seeds from one bracketologist: 8's: Oregon, Kentucky, Butler, Villanova 9's: Air Force, Georgia Tech, Xavier, Indiana Those aren't easy teams to get by in the 2nd round. Wisconsin still would have a good chance of getting to the Sweet 16, but certainly not coasting. Obviously who those teams are in the 8/9 slot are going to change over the next week, but the same quality of teams will likely still be there. Kentucky should be higher than an 8, imo. Considering they have the #1 SOS and #10 rpi, but I digress. I'm fairly confident that the Badgers would beat the teams listed above. While I'm concerned by the scoring, they still play excellent defense and are careful (other than yesterday) with the ball. Coast was maybe a strong word.
  2. Very concerned about Wisconsin. Hoping for a one seed so they can coast to the Sweet 16.
  3. Unsubstantiated rumors from Pats' message boards is that the Pats are interested in Briggs. They have an extra first rounder this year, so it makes some sense. Just thought I'd throw it out there.
  4. Rapada? More like Rapaderrible, am I right?
  5. You call him bitter??? Maybe you should check out your own attitude. Wishing something like that on someone is downright inhumane. i'm only bitter in the sense that i wish him specific harm. lol
  6. I think it's a lack of security thing. For example, if Briggs were to tear up his knee this year, the Bears wouldn't franchise him again, and his open market value would probably take a big hit.
  7. Didn't Dice K pitch today? I wonder how he did...
  8. I don't think the Bears would take less than a first for Briggs. I could be wrong though.
  9. I doubt Payton was thinking, "I have to get rid of Joe Horn so I can prove to everyone that I can win without him."
  10. I would trade him for a first and a third.
  11. I have to get used to Ronny again. I'm overwhelmed with misinformation.
  12. Defense is overrated. so are pitching and offense Now Beer...that's not overrated. Beer is disgusting. Chocolate milk is an underrated drink if there ever was one. 8-)
  13. I love that Ronny has no idea what is going on.
  14. Bly along with Bailey will make it very difficult to pass against Denver. Bly isn't that good. He's no better than Darrent Williams, who they lost. Detroit did a pretty good job defending #1 WR's last year.
  15. Bly to Broncos. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2784408
  16. Free Agency starts tomorrow. Any thoughts?
  17. That song in the beginning is da bomb. Also, Derrek Lee is silky smooth.
  18. LOL @ PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFT.
  19. http://www.profootballtalk.com/rumormill.htm The bolded isn't even close to true. I'm not exactly sure how you can be sure of that-there has been no report that says that the Bears are likely to pay Lovie what his value is. That doesn't mean it still won't happen, but it's certainly not a sure thing that they are willing to pay him 5 million. I can be sure of that because the opposite has been reported. 5 million is an arbitrary number, not any sort of benchmark of his true value. Whatever he ends up taking is his value. The Bears have reportedly been upping their offers over the course of the last couple weeks. So not only have there been signs of impending effort, there are plenty of signs of current effort.
