    Everyone is acting like Barrett is Neifi Perez at the plate this year. He has 91 OPS+ and an unlucky babip.

    This is an especially smart move as Barrett has put up a .276/.364/.483 line so far in June and has shown signs of coming out of his slump. Wouldn't want something like that to continue so we better head that off.

    Why can't Jones just throw the ball higher? How hard is this to fix? Instead of releasing the ball here, do it here. It's not like teaching him to throw it harder or on-line, just higher. I seriously don't understand why this is still occuring.

    Murton has truely gotten the shaft from the Cubs. Here they have a player who has promise, reasonable production, and is inexpensive, they find the way to use him the least.

    Barrett's babip as a Cub: 04: .306 05: .291 06: .311 07: .261 Hopefully we'll see an uptick in his babip soon. He's not far off from getting it together.

    Barrett's only a couple of good games from bringing his OPS+ to the 100 range. He's at 91 right now.

    They should trade Heinrich, who probably has a better reputation and perceived value than actual value. This was my first thought.

    I'm a little skeptical of his interpretation of the situation, nevertheless, I'm very optimistic about his ability to contribute going forward. Yeah, I'm not sure if he knows what's going on but it sounds to me like he's repeating something someone told him. Hopefully a doctor. He's been saying this kind of stuff for a while now. Hopefully it's true because he's a great player.
