I'm not interested in having to rebuild Culpepper. He's missed a lot of time and any team that takes him is going to deal with some issues early on when he starts playing. Also, his knee injury was very serious and I'm not sure if he'll ever return to the form we remember. So you'd have to wait out some growing pains for a guy who may be damaged goods. Basically, I feel you'd have to make a little bit of a commitment to Culpepper in order for it to work. I don't think you could just throw him in in the middle of the season if your first option craps out. I don't think that's going to work. He might be a good risk for someone, but I don't think he really fits with the Bears right now.
