  1. Anyone think Soriano has a shot at breaking Henderson's record?
  2. Why did the Brewers not go with Gallardo for Opening Day?
  3. You've got a pretty good memory there. 2008 Gm# Date Opponent Score Starter Opp Starter .97 Sat 07/19 @ Houston N 1- 4 Zambrano Rodriguez 114 Tue 08/05 Houston 11- 7 Harden Rodriguez 2007 Gm# Date Opponent Score Starter Opp Starter .90 Sun 07/15 Houston 7- 6 Marquis Rodriguez 111 Mon 08/06 @ Houston N 1- 2 Hill Rodriguez 133 Fri 08/31 Houston 1- 6 Marshall Rodriguez Yea I pry should've stated that Wandy dominates us at home usually but on the road we get to him alright. Pry? That's a new one for me. Are we really getting that lazy? First probably gets shortened to prolly, and now pry? Is it really that hard to type out the other 5 letters of the word?
  4. Yeah, Bradley's showboating, but what the hell is Gathright doing? Running backwards just for the heck of it?!
  5. Meh. As long as they don't finish ahead of the Cubs, I don't give a crap where they finish. Actually, to be completely honest, I would love to see a Cubs/Cards NLCS.
  6. Gameday Audio won't let me listen to Pat and Ron either. It's telling me there's a "media error" and that I should "try again in a few minutes." It's been telling me that for the past half an hour.
  7. Hanley sacrifice bunting? Ouch. Could he possibly have been bunting for a hit, and the pitcher made an amazing play to get him? I haven't been following the game, so I have no idea. Just a random possibility.
  8. 2008 Cubs: Actual W-L: 97-64 Pythag. W-L: 98-63 2008 Brewers: Actual W-L: 90-72 Pythag. W-L: 87-75 http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/standings/?ymd=20081027 Tell me again who overachieved and who underachieved.
  9. Did they even have a hometown team contest this year? Oh, poo. I'm too late. I was gonna make a home team comment.
  10. The Tar Heels are more important than the Cubs? Where ARE your priorities, man?!
  11. Everyone that can actually watch this game sucks. Screw you, stupid blackout rules.
  12. Hopefully the Cubs don't lose 10-1 when I start a game thread for a game that matters. ](*,)
  13. Meh. The article from a couple years ago about PNC Park threatening to leave Pittsburgh unless a better team is fielded was a lot better.
  14. The tornado sirens when the Yankees homer are completely unnecessary.
  15. Did Lee forget how many outs there were?
  16. Final spring training game! It should be fun watching Harden mow down the Yankees hitters! Let's win this game and then head on to Houston!
  17. Weird, I got it running of FF. Yeah. It WAS working for me in Firefox, but then it just inexplicably died. I couldn't do anything to get it going again.
  18. There we go. It won't load in Firefox, but it will in IE. I wasn't having any problems in Firefox at the start of the game.
  19. Going strong for me. Cano with a 2 run HR. 3-2 after 2. Good for me too. What the hell? My feed isn't loading at all. ](*,) I can't rewind with my, otherwise it will take me to a Cardinals vs. Red Sox game and won't let me watch anything else. I had to close and reopen it. I've tried closing and re-opening multiple times. Nothing.
  20. Going strong for me. Cano with a 2 run HR. 3-2 after 2. Good for me too. What the hell? My feed isn't loading at all. ](*,)
  21. My MLB.tv feed has died. Anyone else having any problems?
  22. It's on the MLB Network, YES, and MLB.tv. MLB.tv is providing a free feed to everyone with an account at MLB.com, with no blackouts.
  23. I couldn't help but notice the publucation date. Do you think they were being serious? Yes. The Cubs have been the "trendy" pick for the media to take it all since 2003. I think he was kidding. Im not questioning the poster, it just seems that every year since 2003, with the exception of 2006, The Cubs have been the pre season favorite to win it all. I'm pretty sure they weren't the favorites in 2005 either, and I doubt they were the favorites in 2007.
