  1. Rain, stay the hell away from Wrigley. I'm going to this game, and I don't want to drive 4 hours for nothing.
  2. Why has there not been a single game this series on WGN?
  3. Pedro Ramirez? Who's that?
  4. Gathright traded to Baltimore for Freel. How does that free up a spot on the 25-man roster?
  5. Maybe I missed it somewhere, but I don't see anything saying what was done to make room for Wells on the roster. Anyone know?
  6. I believe this is all the proof we need for why more games should be on WGN. This is a welcome change from last year, when they were right around .500 on WGN.
  7. Now that's really an outrage. At least some people care about playoff hockey. Home team gets CSN. Away team gets CSN+. Why not put the Cubs on WGN for crying out loud? Oh, that's right. How dare I suggest they run Cubs baseball instead of WWE Superstars and Around the World for Free?
  8. This game is on CSN. ;) Oh, that's no good !!! CUBS are 0-4 when CSN broadcasts the game Did you count Opening Day as an ESPN game? We won that one and it was on CSN. Yeah, I labeled that one as ESPN. Was it on CSN, too ? Yes.
  9. Who thought the Astros would be contenders?
  10. Hey Cubs, remember this thing you used to do? I think it was called winning. Why don't you try that again?
  11. So, which two geniuses will be broadcasting this game?
  12. For mjohnson71: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chicago_Cubs_Radio_Network
  13. According to Cubs.com, it's just on regular CSN. Not that that helps me any. :x http://chicago.cubs.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20090421&content_id=4360872&vkey=news_chc&fext=.jsp&c_id=chc
  14. Wind blowing out, eh? Is that the first time this season?
  15. He had one decent start against the Cubs in 07, but overall no. He has an ERA over 7 against the team since he's been in the league. However, the Cubs on the team now haven't had much success against him. They haven't faced him all that much, but they're a combined 6 for 29 against him with a combined .644 OPS. The only extra base hit against him by a member of the current Cubs was an Aaron Miles home run. He had a pretty good start last year against Marquis... Where is Cubs.com getting their info? http://chicago.cubs.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20090418&content_id=4327844&vkey=news_chc&fext=.jsp&c_id=chc
  16. How about getting a lead and holding it this time for a change?
  17. DId you not see the strikes called on Theriot and Fukudome? They were worse pitches than the pitches to the 7th and 8th hitters from Demp Thats the way the game has been for 100 years. Dempster has been a bit wild, thats all. You refuse to admit that the umpire isn't giving both teams the same strike zone, don't you?
  18. However, when those walks come as a direct result of Dempster throwing pitches that were called strikes to Theriot, it gets frustrating.
  19. How much you wanna bet the strike zone expands again in the bottom of the inning?
