I totally agree with this sentiment. The Brewers have been kicked around for so long, it doesn't feel all bad to see them have some things start to work out for them. I'd be totally fine with the Brew Crew winning the NL wildcard. I don't think I can ever derive the same amount of acrimony for Prince Fielder or Ben Sheets as I have over the years for other rivals' stars, like Jim Edmonds, Eckstein, Biggio, Bagwell (mainly just his stupid stance) or especially Clemens when he was with the Stro's. I think the only Brewer I really dislike is Jenkins, seems that he's done well against the Cubs. I'm not sure where to look up a players lifetime stats against a particular team though. I can't bring myself to hate their announcers either - I can't help it I like Bob Uecker. The Astros and Cards announcers on the other hand............ Milo Hamilton makes my skin crawl

I find JJ Hardy very easy to hate for some reason. Corey " I wear my sunglasses at night" Hart is a guy I don't care for much. Even before the homer..................

The thing about the Brewers is I can't bring myself to despise them as much as the Cardinals or the Astros.......... I guess I can learn by the end of the season though

Fun times! I heard a story on XM yesterday about how the Astro's players got the pilot of their charter after Lidge gave up the bomb to Pujols to announce in flight that they had to change course because they were encountering a spherical object with red stitching at high altitude.................wow.........

Yeah, Soto isn't anything special. But you are talking about a legit opportunity to see an increase of 300+ OPS points out of a position, from the ~400 OPS provide by Hill and Bowen to possibly a 700 from Soto. Any such move is going to draw attention. Hey, I'm here, too. Just wish we had more to pontificate about, like why aren't we hearing more about the 3 teams interested in Izturis? I'm guessing all three teams are the Cubs :wink:

Agreed - he's obviously not ready to pitch one inning at this point why would he be put in a situation to pitch 5-7 innings hopefully?

Kyle Farnsworth syndrome. I think so too - I think Kyle will be out of New York soon after they decide they are out of it. I hear he has shown up Joe Torre a couple of times............ I don't think Kyle is getting any more jeniuser There's that and the fact he's one of the few Yankees with out a No-trade clause. Really - I did not know that. Maybe he is more jeniuser than i think?
