    don't look at hour by hour forecasts for short-term weather... they're just out of some database that was produced hours ago. Use the radar. the radar looks worse. theres a lot of storm development going one just west of philly.

    I agree completely. I think he's trying to be a little too patient. hes taken a TON of first pitch strikes this year.

    I'm going to the games this weekend and was wondering what time the gates to the bleachers open and what time I should get in line for a friday afternoon game in order to get good seats. Also, anyone know how much the construction has affected the red line from river north to the park and back?

    There was talk about Lou not liking the fact that the two left handers in the rotation were back to back and how he was planning to break them apart. So with the off day coming before next weekends series against the Nationals, which Z would start on Friday, will Lou start Hill on Friday and Z on Saturday?

    Seriously. I was not a good baseball player by any stretch of the imagination but one thing I could do was lay down a bunt. It's not a hard concept. Stick your bat up there, keep it level, and let the ball hit it. it's not a hard concept, but execution is another thing. i'm sure it's much harder to put a 98 mph fastball four feet on the third base line, or drop a 12-6 curve for a bunt single between the first baseman and pitcher... not that that's an excuse, these guys are supposed to be professionals, but it's still not an open court lay up. agreed, but hell im not even talking about placement here, we're talkin just getting it in play and not fouling it off or popping up. the other teams dont seem to have much trouble doing that.

    I still cant figure out why they cant even get a bunt down when they intend to. i mean that play with blanco today was pathetic. I dont even want to think about how many bunt attempts ive seen fouled off or popped up in the last few years.

    Reminds me of another Cubs manager. so i guess you guys would be satisfied if murton started but we were losing?? How does the poor-fielding old dude with a .746 OPS help us win more than starting Murton would? im not saying he does, but constantly complaining about it when we're up 7 runs seems a bit dumb IMO.

    Hill is definitely the ace He's been the ace since August of 06. I agree! i dont even care if we have an ace. i just want to win. why does someone have to be titled an ace?

    So from oblique to shoulder again? Labrum surgery in 5,4,3,2... id take shoulder surgery at this point. at least we would know that something is truely wrong and theyre doing something other than just letting him sit around to fix it. ive never seen an athlete have so much wrong with him, but never have anything minor or major done to fix it.

    I have a toggle button option to turn it off and on in the area where you would expect the line score. im sorry i meant to say the score graphic from the tv broadcast.
