Seriously. I was not a good baseball player by any stretch of the imagination but one thing I could do was lay down a bunt. It's not a hard concept. Stick your bat up there, keep it level, and let the ball hit it. it's not a hard concept, but execution is another thing. i'm sure it's much harder to put a 98 mph fastball four feet on the third base line, or drop a 12-6 curve for a bunt single between the first baseman and pitcher... not that that's an excuse, these guys are supposed to be professionals, but it's still not an open court lay up. agreed, but hell im not even talking about placement here, we're talkin just getting it in play and not fouling it off or popping up. the other teams dont seem to have much trouble doing that.
