    of the top 5 or 10 webgems of the first half... of all MLB not the Cubs alone I think Matthews' from yesterday or Iguchi's throw from midair has to be #1 but I'd appreciate help. Also... maybe a good song to use? I need 5 top plays...... maybe 10 if there is enough

    Trust me, you'll lose the next 4 in a row. :twisted: WRONG!! I trailed 3-1 early on but kept pecking away and went ahead 5-3 on a 3 run HR by Aram. Demp nailed down te save after I got an insurance run on an RBI double by Walker. 7-4 final. Greg Maddux gets the win Chicago Cubs World Champs!

    Its my first year - The lineup is pretty much like the real Cubs: CF Pierre 2B Walker 1B Lee 3B Ramirez RF Jones LF Nevin for lefties/Murton for righties C Michael Barrett SS Cedeno for lefties/Russ Adams for rigties Starting Staff: Prior Wood Z Maddux Rusch Bullpen: Williamson Howry Eyre Dempster (closer) Wuertz Williams (jerome) Ohman Bench: Blanco Mabry Nevin/Murton Cedeno/Adams Womack (he's good in MVP) Neifi and Bynum are in Iowa :P

    I'm up 3-0 on the Yanks in MVP 05 Maybe it will cheer me up. Unlike many here, I still passionitely (sp?) root for the Cubs so the losses still hurt.

    Seriuosly, he was DOMINANT at the beginning of the year and last year as well. There is something wrong with him. Is it possible he is playing hurt? I've given up on him as a closer unless he is hurt.
