I guess Theriot is still our only SS then... unless DeRosa gets some time. Someone should add the call-up to the title.

That or raise his trade value just enough before the deadline. To do that, you would have to assume the Cubs were content with Pagan/Pie in CF, I just can't make that assumption. Or an acquisition of Kenny Lofton.

Sorriano, Rameriz, Pegan, Kendal, and Fonteniot aren't on the Cubs, so barring a major trade, that lineup is far off.

The roster shuffle begins I expect to see Ward on the DL tomorrow and probably Cedeno being called up.

:sigh: Well, it was pretty obvious that since you were asking, it would have to be the two lowest scoring games. I was merely pointing out how ironic it was that the HRs came in the lowest scoring games of the 4, hence the title of the thread.

CHASING AAAAAARON: Bonds homers twice moving him to 753!!!!!! One was off Ted Lilly and the other off Will Ohman - BOTH OFF LEFTIES!!!!!!!!!!! 753 puts him 2 behind AAAARON! The first HR snapped an 0-21. Oh, the Cubs won 9-8, or something.

The Cub with the best numbers against Morris is of course DLee (.357, 4 HRs), but looking at Ward's numbers against him (see below), we should be fine in that spot Notables vs. Morris: Ramirez .300, 3 HRs Floyd .269, 3 HRs Ward .348, 1 HR that's pretty much it besides Soriano who is 1-2

My buddy just told me that he heard that DLEE and RAM are both out of the lineup today. With Z on the mound they can probably handle that but my guess is that Aramis just had a scheduled offday and maybe will play now that Lee is out.
