  1. Their magic # is 10 so if we lose 1 of these next 2 to the Brewers and then get swept, they clinch don't they? Nope. Hypothetical scenario: Tonight: Cubs lose. Magic # = 9 Tomorrow: Cubs lose. Cardinals off. Magic # = 8 Friday: Cubs lose. Cardinals win. Magic # = 6 Saturday: Cubs lose. Cardinals win. Magic # = 4 Sunday: Cubs lose. Cardinals win. Magic # = 2 Duh, I'm crazy Idk what I was thinking

  3. Veteran experience for the playoff push.
  4. If the Marlins win today and we finish the sweep of the Brewers, shock the world and sweep the Cards too, we are put at 4 back (in the division) with 14 to go.
  5. Watch them. There is 19 games left and they are playing good ball. You are going to miss them when they are gone. Hey, someone with common sense
  6. First of all, no team plays 4 different teams from a given division during interleague (unless it's the ALC and we're including the White Sox). Second of all, in 2005 we went to Yankee Stadium while hosting Boston and Toronto.
  7. Yeah, the WC won't go away and I don't think it should. It would be kind of cool if the Cubs and Sox only played once every three years. It would make it more special. I feel like the games are already losing their significance. I think the Astros should just move from the NL Central to the AL West. I think it makes sense for everybody involved and I don't really see why the Astros would decline. Cause they already suck in the NL? Also, you can't have Texas and Houston in the same division, it just throws the whole interleague rivalry thing off.
  8. And the Rockies have to face Matt Cain One more Cubs win/Rockies loss combo is gonna bring a lot of people back LET'S GO THIS!!
  9. Giants load em up with no outs again
  10. He's been pretty consistent this year, I wouldn't worry about it too much just yet.
  11. Hell, if the same stuff happens tomorrow and we win Thursday, we can get to 4 GB with a sweep!
  12. The Brewers bullpen just walked Jeff Francoeur with the bases loaded.
  13. Bases loaded no outs for the Giants in the 1st
  14. I'm not even buying that he's got his job back in Lou's eyes
  15. This the the perfect time for an AramSlam
  16. Cardinals losing not sure how to feel about it
