WGN seems to show less and less Cubs games each year, and that's probably the only thing keeping them alive as a network. Quite sad.

Yeah, but I don't think he'll be an All Star this year. I think he'll be overrated by the fans and get voted in when he doesn't really deserve it.

Bruce Levine of ESPNChicago.com reports that the Rangers have "strong interest" in Xavier Nady. Nady, a right-handed hitter, could be used in a platoon at first base with Chris Davis. Of course, Nady is still owed a little over $1.6 million (plus incentives) for the rest of the season, so the cost-conscious Rangers will have to find a way to get the Cubs to eat the rest of the salary, possibly by tossing in an extra prospect.
