Nyjer Morgan gets clothes-lined

It was the FOURTH inning and his team was losing. He got himself not only into scoring position, but 90 feet away from home plate. Could have scored on a passed ball, wild pitch, base hit, etc. You can't expect to chip into a lead without scoring runs. yeah, but down so many runs, you don't need guys getting CS, you need runners on base. What if he had gotten thrown out? I guess the notion was more stupid than anything. The glove slam, and both catcher "collisions" definitely are douchey... go back and watch the clips. I'll let the SBs slide. Either way, all of the plays and incidents show Morgan as an idiot if nothing else. the glove slam is no more douchey than what ted lilly did Sure it is. Morgan thought it was more appropriate to slam his glove into the ground rather than think maybe the ball was still in play and thus award an inside the park homer to the O's. The D'Backs hit a homerun whether or not Lilly slammed his glove. -

Yes, we all hate the Marlins, but Morgan is a class A douche list of his incidents this year: 1. drops ball in CF, thinks it goes over wall, slams glove, allows inside the park HR 2. runs into STL catcher Anderson coming home without the ball (or Anderson) anywhere near the plate 3. throws ball at fan into stands in Philly 4. runs over Marlins catcher Hayes, ending his season; Morgan would have been safe had he slid 5. steals 2 bases down by 11 runs and charges mound what a dickwad -
LOL @ those not falling into the basket... don't you wonder how the OF doesn't wander under it and watch it land in the basket? Same thing on DeWitt's shot against Bell. Whatever, I need the Marmol save.

another horrific job by the umpiring crew today. LOL @ the call on the Colvin "DP" and then the Heyward Oscar job... amazing how the FOX clowns didn't even note the obvious misses on either call. just sad
