    According to ESPN, it is not Marcus Giles, but Brian Giles that is being fined. It was Marcus in the infield, right? Brian is and has been on the DL with a bruised knee. that is what I thought, so then once again, ESPN is wrong? It is like the world is coming to an end. DLee blows up and ESPN is wrong. Now what?     hehe. Yeah, if that's the way you describe a throw that bounces twice before it ever makes it to the infield. And why does Jones do that exaggerated shoulder turn when makes his throws. Its like he thinks he is cocking his gun or something. realistically - 80% of the people on this board could throw better than Jones. He might have the worst arm of anyone I have seen in so long. I can't figure if it is arm strength or just technique - but why can he not throw it all the way in the air? I could walk out there today and do it and I don't play! It's technique, Jones's arm itself is rather strong, he just can't come close to controlling it. sorry, it just drives me crazy when he cannot even carry the infield dirt - it is like he is trying to throw a strike from 100 feet away - get the ball up...

    Just to defend Barret, that pitch was maybe 55 feet and then flattened out...that is a 50/50 pitch to catch for almost all catchers. Do not blame Barret because of his recent miscues - it was simply a horrible pitch

    Hopefully he doesn't have to go to the DL. Stupid hustling, but at least all the jackass sports djs and and baseball know-nithings will be happy. If he was more used to hustling, he wouldn't get hurt every time he actually does hustle. I agree. And usually injuries like these can be caused by not stretching properly or enough before the game. what? a strained knee can usually be avoided by stretching properly. I would tend to disagree, he could have just landed wrong or something. And all the proper stretching would not stop twisting a knee as you land wrong. Sorry...
