  1. Len mentioned on the telecast tonight that Bush was going Thursdsy instead of Parra. http://milwaukee.brewers.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20080916&content_id=3488160&vkey=news_mil&fext=.jsp&c_id=mil Haha, I know Parra's been bad lately, but making Dave Bush pitch on short rest doesn't seem like the answer. Please win tonight! Tomorrow game has all the makings of a clinch, and I'm going!!!
  2. Not only that but our players feel comfortable in their home park. It's honestly like having two home parks.
  3. Seems like a good bet... .
  4. Score more! I don't trust a rusty wood for the 9th.
  5. SWWWWWWEEEETTTT!!!! We needed that/
  6. BOOOOO!!!!! Boo to you, consumer of news. Where you guys aren't imagining problems that aren't there with journalism, you are creating them with your horrible news taste. It was a joke and what?
  7. wow Try putting yourselves in Astros fans shoes. If Chicago was hit by a tornado and hundreds died would you like it if the next game being played in Dallas versus Astros that the Cubs were booed for taking the field? As a sports fan you have tunnel vision. You go to sporting events to forget about the real world, and you do get wrapped up into the game. This is honestly being blown way out of proportion. What they could've done is took a 10 second vow of silence honoring the victims before the game to remind people, which they didn't.
  8. The talk backs are even worse.
  9. I think he's exactly right. If Harden's healthy, I honestly could envision just a loss or two in the NL portion of the playoffs. If not, who knows. This is funny:
  10. Lou should of pitched him yesterday.
  11. I can't find the article on the site. Link?
  12. I've got tickets for Thursday game, so a win today and tomorrow would be nice. But I think CC will get the win today, and I wouldn't be shocked if they win the next two games.
  13. 90 wins! 1998 was the last time we had 90 wins, no? I'm too lazy to check.
  14. A few more runs would be nice.
  15. The truly tragic thing for Brewers fans is that they could have played the fourth game of the Philly series on Monday. If they had, Sabathia would have gone, and the Brewers would likely still be 2 games up right now. But due to Ned, they decided to save CC for the Cubs series, and are now tied with Philly, who has by far the easier schedule from here on out. So in an attempt to catch the Cubs (which wasn't going to happen anyway), Yost may well have cost the Brewers the WC. Now if the Cubs sweep or take 2 of 3 from the Crew with Philly headed to Atlanta, Milwaukee's season may be all but over. Well done. Wow. Ned's stupid. He should've had CC pitch the first game of the Philly series. If CC gets that first win, the series could've been different. Instead of taking a realistic view of the big picture they are hell bent on passing the Cubs. Now they are screwed and may not even make the playoffs. What a disaster.
  16. And it's oh so sweet. Not if it means we face Philly in the first round instead of LA it's not. Be careful what you wish for, because you just might get it. I'd rather face Philly in the first round than Milwaukee in the second. Seriously, if we can't beat any of the other playoff teams in a short series, then we don't deserve to go to the WS. Damn straight.
  17. Would you want to be the one to take Z out because of a pitch count on his way of a no-hitter? I didn't think so...
  18. Man, it's good to have Z back!
