  1. Yes, my life is damaged by this feeble attempt to regain his glory days. That was quite the zinger you laid on me. Regain his glory days? What the hell is wrong with you?
  2. Jesus Christ, maybe he just wants to pitch. Maybe someday he'll be able to do it again. It's only been 6 years. So what? Who is he hurting by trying? Himself. Over and over. Maybe his wife, if he's married. She married him when he played baseball, I'm sure she realizes what the baseball life is. And of course you can't know what's going on with his married life. I'm sure he's Wife is supportive of this because this is who she married. A ball player. You are really reaching for it now.
  3. Right. You don't know because you aren't Mark Prior nor have you ever played MLB baseball. It's silly to compare yourself to his situation. And the Angel Guzman comparison is stupid. Thank you for bringing obnoxiousness back to this thread. Obnoxiousness? i thought I was being the most reasonable?
  4. You aren't going to get a top prospect.
  5. That's my opinion on what he should do. Where did I say he shouldn't be allowed to play anymore? C'mon. It's all about your delivery. Don't play the "it's just my opinion" card. You knew you were going to get some kind of reaction to that post.

  7. It pains me to agree with Nuts and some of the others on here, but they are spot on. If you had the kind of talent he had would you give up? Even if their was a slim chance of playing MLB again? I think it's hard for you to relate because you've probably never excelled in anything and had it prematurely taken away from you. Hey, I'm usually a cynical prick, but it would make this year a little special to see him back on the bump this year and see him get another K. Edit: this is towards Old Style.

I love how the ad changes to Rehab and Bi-Polar in this poll. Google adsense is genius.
  9. If our only worry is our bullpen going into 2013 I'll be one [expletive] happy camper. Will you? probably not.

  11. Of course. It depends how many and how realistic your expectations are.
  12. There's a lot of "maybe's" in there. just saying...
  13. That's not what anyone was saying you dolt. We were discussing what the poster said a page ago and said that is an unlikely situation. That is all. Baseball is practically nothing but a question of "if's" Agreed.
  14. How about getting back on the subject? Or adding to the thread besides nothing.

  16. Idiot. The sad thing is is that you really seem to think it matters whether we're right or wrong about this stuff. Actually, I thought the same about you. Edit: Except the idiot statement. I feel right about that.
  17. Well at least you got yourself covered either way.
  18. You are like nails on a freaking chalk board. It's like dealing with a little kid that is always trying to curtail the subject matter to prove he's right.
  19. Does that speculation mean that they want B Jackson spending the whole season at AAA? I hope so.
  20. No one is pinning it down to that one scenario. The discussion was that certain scenario had to many "ifs" and wasn't really that realistic and you said it was.
  21. You wouldn't be surprised if we get Hamels, Jackson and Rizzo are solid MLB players in their first year, shark progresses, and whatever else he had in there? Damn, gimme some of that optimism!
