Oh stop....You know you'll be switching back and forth. i don't have mlb.tv, or EI, and don't live in Chicago, so I have no way to watch the Cubs. Lucky you!

I remember the same thing was brought up in 2006 as well. We're not the Astros, and we're definitely not the same team. What they did is rare and I don't expect the Cubs to follow suit. I hate seeing the 2005 Astros argument. THE POINT IS THAT IT'S NOT EVEN MAY YET You're right it's not May, but I promise you when May roles around you are going to have people say it's not even June yet. The fact remains this is the same piss poor baseball we saw last year. Nothing has changed. Instead of losing by 3-5 runs we lose by 1-2 runs. No matter what we lose.

Best post I've seen in a while. I find it funny that every year there are fans that laugh at the "panic early" fans, when they are the ones usually right. The Cubs are the most predictable thing in sports. And, I like a fool, believe every year that this is our year. It's a sickness! It really is...

It means when things go bad the Cubs don't have the attitude or the confidence to over come it. Plain and simple this team lacks heart and the will (and know how) to win.

kurkijan and gammons have been talking about z's new motion from his 2nd outing on. it is so noticeable now that even Steve Phillips has stopped chasing women to comment on it. now if we only had someone to go out there and fix it. while we are just 4.5 out now and its not exactly panic time yet, this mess is being brought to you by the architect of all the previous disasters- Jim Hendry. He should have been fired last year, but definitely will be this year if the team doesnt pull out of it and new ownership is on board. The same thing happened last year and it took Z and Rothschild a month to correct.

Agreed. I like to get Pie and Theriot in there, if nothing else, to get some energy in this team.

Although Philly just won three straight and they are a bad, bad team... But yes so far this is the most overrated baseball players since 2004.

That's the scary part. I find it hard to believe they can win serveral games in a row, to even make a run at it.

We need Hill to go deep into the game the rest our bullpen. We'll win this game and lose the next two. If we lose today and go 6 under? Man, this season could be over in April. Well at least I can enjoy my summer not worrying about this worthless team... GO CUBS! Yay!

I think if\when we hit 10 games under, we free fall. Until then, it's still early.

We are still going to lose. In fact win or lose are middle relief is terrible, and unless we have a 3-4 run lead we are going to cough it up.
