Do you have an open window on standby just so you can type in the play and submit it as fast as possible? Amazing what you can do when you program your function keys with macros, no? I bet "Pierre grounded out to second, 4-3" is like "Enter" LMAO!!! You're not allowed to laugh at that. I can't help it, I read almost every game thread on here...I know it's truth.

Availability Update: Cubs Maddux Zambrano Wood Rusch Blanco Cards Edmonds Bennett Spiezio (not at park) Marquis Mulder Suppan Edmonds is on the 15 day DL. At least I thought he was He's in the dugout in tennis shoes...as long as he doesn't play they can make it retro-active to whenever when they put him on.

he's about the best option we have left. Dusty's saving Demp for when we take the lead ( in other words...forever) Eyre definitely did his job tonight. If things go south for him now, I'd have trouble blaming him.

Players don't opt out of their contracts in that situation. They secure their money, and then wait for a team that's going nowhere to move them in a salary dumping roster move. -
I would imagine it has somewhere along the line. Ruth used to be a pitcher...wonder if it ever happened in a game that he pitched?

QFA Every year one of the things I root for is a close race for the division lead between the Cards and the Cubs. It's such a great rivarly, and I like it when it garners the attention it deserves from the national media. I always want to see the Cards on top, but I want the Cubs to do well too because that only makes the rivalry that much stronger. I don't give two hoots about any other team in our division, and I hope they all play miserably.
