    I believe that's only his 8th. Neifi leads the team Ohman coming in Really? I did not know that. Yup, and it's a heck of an accomplishment with as long as he was batting behind Corey.

    Yuck, that sounds pretty. :mrgreen: It's been my substitute for a nicotine patch or gum while I try to quit smoking. But that leads me to question... what's our record over the last 40 days or so? If it's that much worse than we were doing while I smoked, I might have to pick it back up.

    Well, it's time for me to bust out the secret weapon. We scored our 4 runs when I put a massive chew in... I hate to dip again so quickly (as it tears that hole in my lip), but it needs to be done.

    Aramis really helped us out of a jam there, after Burnitz decided to do his best Alou impression.

    You all have to remember... with a contract like Manny's, the trade deadline is Aug. 31 at midnight, after which a team can't put him on their postseason roster. The odds of somebody putting a claim in on Manny is fairly low with the amount of money left on his contract. So he could be dealt like Larry Walker was last year.

    Blanco's average has jumped up 29 points tonight!

    You're not kidding. My entire group didn't sit in our seats after the 3rd inning. We just stood in the tunnel where it was nice and shady with a cool breeze. And it's not like it impacted our view... cause we had horrible seats anyways.
