    It will be made up tomorrow night as a doubleheader starting at 5. I wonder if that means Gallagher - Veal both start tomorrow! I don't know that the first game will be broadcast ... the second game is on the schedule.

    They'll trade an April day game on a Wednesday for a July Thursday night game 10 times out of 10. They just dropped a value date and added a prime date.

    Since the Cubs and Astros have a ton of games left to be played, a postponed game might not be rescheduled on the Thursday off-day. They play each other right after the all-star break; they could reschedule the game a day early. They did that a couple of years ago with a Pittsburgh game.

    Cubs.com suggests that Soriano could have caught the ball that went for a Luke Scott double in the first. I didn't see the play; is it true? ETA: In the long run, Murton has to worry more about Soriano moving to LF than anyone else. I think we all know who wins that fight.
