So, apparently Juan Agudelo has his heart so set on England that he's rejected offers in Holland and Germany and is buying property in Cypress in an effort to gain citizenship as an "investor."

I basically mean there appears to be a compromise. He took Yedlin but not Deuce. He brought Rimando and Gil but not Beckerman. KC is in a dog fight, none of those guys were called. Same with Toronto and Houston. New England is rolling and they didn't call Jones or Nguyen. LA is losing the most but they didn't call Zardes or Rogers.

I'm glad they didn't call in key MLS players for this game (other than Omar and LD). I'm not glad this is the game they're giving Landon. Ecuador in where? Connecticut? I know time is limited if it's going to be more than a testimonial, but it's pretty underwhelming. No Beas, Deuce, Howard, MB, etc. oh well.

They're going to play twice in a week and then probably in the WC Finals. Gonna be chippy. Omar and De La Garza vs Oba and Deuce will be fun. Landon, Zardes and Keane are going to slice the Sounders D to ribbons. Yedlin is going to have to stay home a lot and Rogers is going to be able to get high. I don't see how Seattle gets it done at this point. Sigi can clone Brad Evans a couple times and just play him at LB, CB and RM. I'd bet we'll see Evans at either LB or left CB with little to no time there before when it starts to matter. He's the human swiss army knife for Sigi.

Landon had a goal and 3 assists which tied him with the career MLS assists record. He might hit 20 assists this year which hasn't been done since Valderrama in '96. He's incredible. Typical Landon that he's going to amaze us and then disappear.

Clint Dempsey & Obafemi Martins ability to hold off defenders, make the perfect off-ball runs & find each other in tight spaces is everything that makes soccer great. They are [expletive] incredible. Oba has 14 goals and 10 assists. Deuce has 13 goals and 10 assists.

It became easier to tolerate when I started ignoring everything that comes out of his mouth. He constantly contradicts himself and he's way too dumb to keep all of his Phil Jackson mind games straight so he just says whatever pops into his head at the time with no regard to how it relates to something he said a month before. It's just pointless. There's no consideration behind any of it. He believes he's playing long con mind games but he just says whatever pops into his head at the moment.

Not all. NYCFC will be a monster. Atlanta, who knows on the field, but they're getting Soundersesque season ticket buys. But yeah, the rest is a mess of bad owners & bad stadiums. Holy [expletive]. They'll raise the cap too. Seattle & LA will spend like crazy. Gonna be a dog fight for SKC, PTFC, RSL, HOU and the rest to keep in the last two spots. Brek Shea STARTED and had a nice assist for Birmingham City today. Positive sign. Guzan with yet another shutout.
