Nah, they loan guys out all the time. Even when they're not as deep as they are now they do it. Kroos, Alaba, they're talking about it for Shaquiri...this is a big part of their process and has been for decades. They raise them and in that tricky 18-23 age group, if they don't have a need they loan them out. Bring them back if they've proven themselves. I was shocked when they said they weren't going to. I think Green can be really good, but not a mega star. By not loaning him I thought it meant they thought he could contribute now which would indicate: mega star. This confirms my suspicion that he's Bayern quality but not quite yet. Think this is a great move. Hamburg is a great club.

It's basically Euro nats, Olympic roster candidates that haven't already broke into MLS or the nats and fringe nats based in Europe. Very speculative roster from Jurgen. The Jordan Morris hype machine is out of control in the US prospect circles. Apparently has elite speed and can play anywhere in the attack from the 10 to the wing or up top. If Seattle didn't have so many veteran strikers, he wouldn't have gone to college. Hopefully Jurgen gets in his ear and tells him to stop dicking around at Stanford.

I don't really care because I only listen to B&B via podcast, but in what I've heard from Mannelly, he's been super bland and a little afraid to be critical, especially of old teammates. Spiegel isn't my favorite either. He and Mannelly can be boring together, I guess. They should have revamped it and gone with something like Laurence Holmes and Matt Bowen. Given Abbatacola the evening gig.

Could be moving someone from another show to fill the midday slot announced at 3pm and Goff will fill in the open spot elsewhere, announced at a later time. So on the score right now they have... Mully and Hanley in the AM, formerly Mac and Spiegs Midday, Boers and Bernstein afternoons, Lawrence Holmes in the evening and creepy Les Grobstein overnight. Boers and Bernstein isn't changing, and Holmes has some 120 sports thing that is taking up his time. So maybe someone from Mully and Hanley moves to midday, and Goff to AMs, announced later? Jason Goff just tweeted that he's hosting a mid-day show on Sirius XM with Will Carroll on BR radio. That's worth checking out.

And to top it off, they're trying to buy their way into the top 4 with a couple big names rather than 5 or 6 champions league quality contributors. DiMaria is excellent, but you could have bought 4 contributors for that price rather than a player that makes your previous record signing redundant (Mata). They strengthened what was already a position of strength. What Man City did last year was brilliant. Scour Spain and Italy for top tier players on second tier teams and offer them big raises. Don't waste money on overpriced English talent or try to poach players from clubs where they're already making absolute top dollar. Chicharito is actually really good value for them. He's going to be needed off the bench or on Cup days. We just hear the narrative that they should sell him here because Mexicans want him to be starting. In reality, every team like United need a reliable striker option off the bench.
