  1. Gyasi a handful. Very strong. Slide rule to Deuce. 2-0.
  2. Haha Bradley just olympico'd panama
  3. I think the key takeaway here is that SSR and IMB were right all along. Derrick Rose is a trifling mf'er and Russell Westbrook is an example of what every American should aspire to be.
  4. Beginning of the year, I was firmly Team Thibs. At this point, I'm ready for him to go. He's a great coach but for longevity, you need more than one gear. I'm ready for the the Hoiberg era.
  5. Holland: Where the doorstep sitters flow like wine and Aron Johansson gets drunk on the reg. https://vine.co/v/OFtreUQ5pMJ
  6. He absolutely hates the daily grind of it. On the surface, that seems absurd, but it would absolutely be a grind to be up every day, having to talk about anything for hours. Especially if you have depressive tendencies like Dah Mah Nah (and myself).
  7. He thinks MLS needs a longer season "like Europe." First, referring to Europe like its a single entity is absurd. Second: "@RyanRosenblatt: Bundesliga offseason: 104 days. MLS offseason: 89 days. And that's not counting the Bundesliga's winter break, but you do you, Jurgen."
  8. Jurgen Klinsmann just implied that the reason the media and fans are turning against him is because they are ignorant, not because his results and process show zero evidence of improving the USS program. It would be one thing if this nut job had proven his methods work and then decided to tell everyone to get on his level or [expletive] off, but to do it now is just trolling.
  9. http://grantland.com/the-triangle/usmnt-u17-haji-wright-development/ Good article on the next next for the US, Haji Wright.
  10. Three, but who's counting? The last time we scored a second half goal: We get our ass kicked in the second half because Jurgen doesn't know what adjustments to make or when. What Jurgen's defenders are missing in the process vs results argument is that most of the fans who want him out would be fine with a coach losing meaningless friendlies if they trusted that his process was sound. We're not just mad because we aren't winning every game. Every bit of evidence points to Jurgen being stubborn, confused and totally lost from camp-to-camp so how on earth can we trust his process?
  11. 2019 He really sucks the fun out of this team. The likability is tainted by his dumb presence.
  12. Another game, another Klinsmann team that looked like less than the sum of it's parts. Oh well. On to the next one. Jermeezus was hot garbage in the back.
  13. Robbie Rogers >>>>>>> Brek Shea as a wing back. And probably a left mid for that matter. Wish he had gotten the call.
  14. Woof. Yedlin just got TORCHED on that equalizer.
  15. Klinsy 'gon Klinsy.
  16. Kljestan to NYRB.
  17. Speaking of the u-20's, Matt Miazga is moving from RBNY to RB Leipzig.
  18. Rookie was Patrick Mullins who was snapped up by NYCFC in the exp draft. Davies is his only competition at the 9. He should beat him out after he knocks the rust off. They have his rights and he's signing with MLS. Maybe they'll trade him? Btw, did you watch any of the u-20's? Cameron Carter-Vickers is a stud. Really like Hyndman (obviously) and Steffen as well.
  19. Juan Agudelo is returning to the Revs. If he hasn't fired his agent long ago, he's an idiot. What an epic waste of a whole year.
  20. I always roll my eyes at MLS stating their ambition to be an elite league by 2022, but when the level of players acquired in the offseason seems to improve drastically every year, it's harder to do that. It'll take longer than 7 years, but the arrow continues to point up.
  21. http://www.tsn.ca/toronto-fc-completes-swap-deal-altidore-to-toronto-defoe-to-sunderland-1.181889 Jozy & $ for Defoe. Shout out to Jurgen.
  22. Non-DP deal for Diskerud. Surprised, but think that's more than fair. http://cdn.sbisoccer.com/images/2015/01/Mix-NYCFC.jpg Edit - Appears he's on DP money but they're paying it down with allocation, so probably around 700k. MLS is the best, man. Allocation dollars!
  23. Sounds like Mix to NYCFC is done. I'm excited to get a better handle on his value being able to watch him now. Shout out to Jurgen.
  24. Bears repeating: our coach is a goddam lunatic. Who knows of any of this [expletive] pans out. Either way, lunatic.
  25. January camp roster: U.S. ROSTER BY POSITION GOALKEEPERS (4): Alex Bono (unattached)?, Sean Johnson (Chicago Fire), Jon Kempin (Sporting Kansas City)?, Nick Rimando (Real Salt Lake) DEFENDERS (8): Matt Besler (Sporting Kansas City), Steve Birnbaum (D.C. United), Christian Dean (Vancouver Whitecaps FC), Brad Evans (Seattle Sounders FC), Jermaine Jones (New England Revolution), Perry Kitchen (D.C. United)?!, Shane O’Neill (Colorado Rapids)!, Oscar Sorto (LA Galaxy) MIDFIELDERS (10): Michael Bradley (Toronto FC), Mix Diskerud (out of contract), Dennis Flores (Club Leon), Luis Gil (Real Salt Lake), Miguel Ibarra (Minnesota United FC)*, Lee Nguyen (New England Revolution), Marc Pelosi (Liverpool)!, Dillon Serna (Colorado Rapids), Brek Shea (Orlando City SC), Wil Trapp (Columbus Crew SC)! FORWARDS (6): Tesho Akindele (FC Dallas)!, Clint Dempsey (Seattle Sounders FC), Julio Morales (Tepic)?, Chris Wondolowski (San Jose Earthquakes)*, Bobby Wood (1860 Munich)*, Gyasi Zardes (LA Galaxy)! ! COOL * CRAP ? HUH So...Perry Kitchen as a defender is crazy. Crazy smart? I guess we'll see. Happy to see Wil "lil Mike Bradley" Trapp and Marc Pelosi as well. We beat Canada out for a promising striker prospect yet again in Akindele. Hope he pans out.
