    I agree completely. I love JB more than any other drummer. Danny Carey is different though. The stuff he does is more technically complex. Not saying Bonham couldn't do it, just that he didn't.

    who let the Cards fan in? :wink: That Cardinal fan is dumber than a box of rocks. The WS are easily one of the best bands I've ever heard. I voted for the Stripes. My post was a commentary on how crappy a lot of public opinion is in my view.

    Then as a drummer, I suggest you go listen to some tool right now. I HATE Maynard or whatever the singers name is. Their video imagery is tired too. That said, Danny Carey is on a whole other level.

    I love both these bands, but DMB gets my vote.

    I think it's funny that one of the most famous bands in the history of recorded music is seeded one higher than a two-piece gimmick band that has released only a few albums. I think this is a case of preference over historical significance. I voted for the Stripes.

    You mean mall punk? Don't call it punk plz. It's fine if you like that music, but real punk would scare most Greenday/Simple Plan/Blink 182 fans. Pearl Jam gets the vote because American Idiot and Warning have turned me from a fan to someone who would kick Billie Joe Armstrong in the balls if given the chance.

    Is there anything you actually like? There's only been a few I haven't had a choice I liked. So far I have liked: REM Sound Garder Skynrd The Clash Def Leppard Jane's Addiction Cream The Kinks The Doors GnR Pantera U2 Bruce Springsteen ACDC Radiohead Rage STP Allman Brothers Black Sabbath Jimi Hendrix The Who Metallica Led Zeppelin The Beatles The Stones Motley Crue and a bunch of bands I love but couldn't vote for because of difficult matchups like Foo Fighters and Sonic Youth. So it would appear I have liked a lot of bands in this poll. Maybe just not many that you like.

    No matter WHAT. This head butt is not only the difference between France getting 2 out of the last 3 cups in addition to an Euro Cup, but this could be the difference from Zidane being mantioned in the same breath as Beckenbauer, Pele, Maradona, etc.

    FWIW, during the US v Ghana game, the announcers said Ghana extended an invitation to Adu to play on this year's cup team but he declined. Sounds like he was still eligible. The invitation was probably Ghana's attempt to get him now since the US didn't offer.

    BULL U2, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Guns N Roses, The Replacements, Van Halen, Metallica, The Police, Michael Jackson, Prince, Pixies, The Cars, Slayer, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Madonna, The Clash, Megadeath, The Talking Heads, The Cure, Whitney Houston, Motley Crue, Ratt, Rolling Stones, Skid Row, Bryan Adams, Black Flag, Duran Duran, Pat Benetar, Queen, etc etc etc Headline for music in the 80's? Styx? Maybe if you live in a small town in the midwest, had a mullet, and no musical taste to speak of.
