[expletive], he ain't even Deng. He good, though. Don't let your dedicated trolling (realism) over-value your stupid (good) team just because Bulls fans are dump & myopic as Cubs fans typically are when evaluating the Celts. I'm drunk right now, but I'm gonna need a lot more whiskey before I a) give Boston a chance in the East or B) call Avery damn Bradley the best perimeter defender in the game.

That's a wrong bottom line, friend. He's not just not far better, he's worse. Horrendous is strong. Noah is underrated offensively. Great hands/passing/transition center. Luol is an above average offensive player when healthy. Derrick Rose's knee did that and you should understand that this team as it was constructed 6 months ago needed to be blown up anyway. It's an entirely different matter whether or not you think the Bulls front office is capable of building a championship team around Derrick, but their instinct that they don't currently have one is correct. All of these moves they've made since last year's playoff exit would be much clearer to understand if they had a complimentary star in place already. They don't, so it's impossible to see where Taj fits in the big picture of the next Bulls contending team. That said, he took less than market value to stay and I'm comfortable he'll live up to the contract.

Yeah, now that I think about it, you are probably right. This limits the Bulls being players in 2014 when Deng's contract comes off the books. No it doesn't. That's a reasonable contract, so odds are they could trade him if they needed/wanted to. "Any contract is tradeable in the NBA." -Gilbert Arenas

Landon Donovan should retire or take a break or whatever, that's fine. I just want him to stop talking about it. Also, if he wants to broadcast, developing a personality would help.

Bale and Lennon will at least attempt to create for others. Defoe will just put his head down and shoot if he's within 25 yards of goal. He's empty calories; the Sharif Abdur-Raheem of the EPL. Feel like Dempsey playing centrally underneath Adebayor would be exactly what they need. I think NBC correctly sees that most literate sports fans have no use for ESPN, and if they invest in the right properties, they can build a legitimate alternative.

Sounds like it's NBC. No problem with that. Really like their MLS stuff. I'll miss Ian Darke. I'd like to see this lead to ESPN doing more with MLS.

ESPN and Fox lost their Premier League rights. No word yet on who got them. Probably Bein. God I hope not. I never thought I'd say this, but ESPN's soccer product is fantastic. Also, without the EPL, FSC is screwed. I really hope NBC got them and not Bein.

And host as well. 100X better. They will have no choice but to send the A team. Could realistically be Messi's last chance to win a major tournament for Argentina. Legacy defining stuff. I'm extremely happy about this.
