    And to be perfectly honest, it works. The clip I'm posting here is ambient audio from Wrigley, courtesy of Gameday Audio between innings, which would be a commercial break on a normal radio broadcast. Between the opening guitar to the song combined with the crowd knowing what's up, again, I think it works in its own way. Decide for yourself. It's almost impossible to hear, but the PA announcer announces "now pitching for the Chicago Cubs, right-hander, number 34, Kerry Wood!" at about the :26 mark, give or take a second or two. http://bcvm22.home.comcast.net/~bcvm22/cubs/woodyintro.mp3
