    Hey, Ray Durham is almost as good as Huston Street, right? Maybe the Cubs will go out and trade for Jeff Kent as a response, since both teams seem to be in a groove for trading for California ballplayers.

    I don't think it's the losses that bother us per say (not that there's any such thing as a good loss), but rather the fashion in which they're losing, the team/pitchers they're losing to and the worrisome performances that are contributing to the losses, performances that could be precursors to extended problems.
