what depth did hendry pick up last year? why is there a 4man rotation with rusch and a rookie (who I hope does well) if there's that depth? cubs.com has a new story on wood/prior/miller. Yep, that's why I got the jersey this offseason. You're going to need No. 3 starting Friday, when Ronny switches again. Jerome to go to No. 57. WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY. NOOOOOOOOOO is anybody new going to wear 5??
No, I'd have to go look that one up. Don't worry about it. I was just wondering because it seems like we don't play very well there. yesterday on the radio they said the cubs were over .500 there last season but under .500 at wrigley vs the reds. doesn't answer your questions but it's all I got.
a couple years ago I might have thought that hendry would go get cabrera if he's available. But I don't think so anymore. Between hendry waiting way too long to take care of glaring problems and MacPhail's cheapness and laughing at the cubs conventions about paying vlad guerrero so much money when he has a bad back, the cubs won't ever make the big moves with those guys still there.
1) David Ortiz 2) Paul Konerko, Aramis Ramirez 3) Jason Bay, Lance Berkman, Kevin Mench 4) Justin Morneau, Todd Helton, Jhonny Peralta, Luis Gonzalez Bonus - Jeremy Hermida
according to cubs.com. link -- http://chicago.cubs.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/team/roster_40man.jsp?c_id=chc Sorry if this was already posted someplace but it was news to me. SAny reason he's on it over some other prospect (brownlie)? Is he slotted for AAA?
I hope Prior will be back rehabbing in 7-10 days like they're thinking now and pitching by May or June. It sure doesn't sound like that's a good plan after reading all this but I guess we'll find out by opening day if the moderate strain will be all cleared up by then and he's throwing again. LOL, Hendry says there's nothing to worry about at all. http://www.nytimes.com/2006/03/19/sports/baseball/19chass.html?_r=1&oref=slogin
