    I'm really looking forward to watching Lindor and Kluber play for the Cubs next season after we win this series. That's how the post-season works, right? That's what happened last year.

    Winning the MVP of the NLCS got to his head. He's been really rough this series. Ugly group of games. What the hell happened to the offense from Game 2? That was glorious.

    I don't think that's true. I'm fairly certain a read a Kerry Wood quote in an article a couple of years ago saying that it was past time for the Cubs to reconnect with Sammy.

    So you're arguing that him jogging and then stopping down the 1b line is okay and would have made no difference had he been running as hard as he was from 1st-3rd? Sound logic. Totally makes sense. Why would anyone bust ass out of the box assuming that could be an inside the park homerun? Off the bat it looked like a routine foul ball. Which player on the roster do you believe would have turned that into a homerun?

    I can imagine rooting against a team in the postseason. I do that every time the Cardinals make it. But I can't imagine being so invested in your hatred of another team. I don't know, maybe it's just talking crap, and they don't really feel it as strongly as they claim to.

    Where does it come from!? If he played for them in his career I would at least understand it. Did Palmeiro sleep with his wife, too? Smoltz does seem to be rooting against the Cubs in the playoffs. It seemed like he was in favor of the Giants, too.
