  1. It would be an embarrasment to the sport if Fifa does not take action, those poor fans paid to see a real game and it was ruined by this one whistle happy jerk.
  2. word. i hope that ref never officiates another game in his life.
  3. Not that I held them in high esteem before this, but this is nonsense Does this ref work Serie A? he looks italian Stadium: Fritz-Walter Stadion, Kaiserslautern, Germany Attendance: Match Time: 15:00 ET Referee: Jorge Larrionda (Uruguay) rate the ref profile: http://www.ratetheref.net/referees/view.php?Id=22
  4. i can't respect the Italian team after this
  5. or bend it man thats some pressure for you by the offense WHAT WAS THA TREF!
  6. this US team is way different, playing with a lot more aggression.

  9. It's the "Watch a Major League team fall flat on their face" show, starring http://www.minorleaguebaseball.com/images/2005/06/27/BGBoMCRL.jpg Justin Verlander - 7-4, 3.32 era and http://www.daytonacubs.com/news/files/683-376.jpg El Salvador, 1-0, 0.90 era
  10. He's been blessed by deity. Someone needs to photoshop a picture of Dunn looking down, shining brightly on Marmol from Heaven. dunn'd http://img143.imageshack.us/img143/310/dcopy8fk.jpg
  11. Hear me out, its obvious there is something about this organization that is just foul, but there is no particular part that deserves the whole of the blame. At each level, minor league, the team, the manager, the front office, and the ownership, there is a lack of success and not much of a bright side or potential to cling on to. Is it possible that if the cubs did worse than they are projected to do (68-94), and lose 100 games for the first time since 1966 that we might see the drastic changes that this organization needs? Something doesn't sit well with me when I see busts of our organization leave the ivy walls of Wrigley and succeed with an actually competent coaching staff, and seeing that out of all the products of our farm system, only few have succeeded on the big club in the last 5 years. Wait, this is the cubs, nvm.
  12. more along the idea of the cubs letting out a potential worldly CF who we couldnt harness suceed somewhere else. slightly scary though: Brock's first full year in STL : .288/.345/.445 Patterson in 06: .291/.341/.471 plus patterson is on pace to steal over 50 bases, maybe not lou brock's 63 in 65', but all the more reason to draw a comparison.
  13. oh dear god, lou brock II
  14. care to believe this? middle of may or so i changed my avatar to jonesy's team pic, and since then hes been steadily improving to be a brightspot on this team, and even crazier is that was my initial intention, as superstitous as i am (like any good cub fan).
  15. link to the other #'s?
  16. hed make one hell of a pitching coach after he retires.
  17. '' Letting him have kids with a woman springs immediately to mind... http://terpsboy.com/blogpics04/blues-jake.jpg "The girl, how much for the girl?" "Your women. I...I want to buy your women. The little girl. Your two daughters. Sell them to me. Sell me your children." classic, aw dam now i cant stop staring at my college poster
  18. what a day for the broncos, there is not one pick that i do not like, and i am especially excited about getting Walker, and drafting Cutler and Brandon Marshall as well as Elvis Dumervill, and later siging UDFA mike bell.
  19. i absolutely love this pick, jake has 2-3 more of his prime years, which will be about the time we could expect cutler to come in, he was also much better than any other player we could have expected at #15, except i am a little suprised we passed on ngata, who would have been a great addition to the line.
  20. ANOTHER reach, millen is stupid
