  1. Explaining why he's sticking with Grudz over...Walker? Who was Grudz competing with? That's the one and he was referring to Walker after the Cubs had signed both prior to 2004. i thought this was during the 04 season when walker had been injured and grudz was hitting decent and walker had just came back from injury around that time (maybe im just piecing together different instances)
  2. I disagree, but PF is my favorite band ever. You'll see The Who very soon Excellent. Is there another band who had dynamite in their Drum kit and has been on the Simpsons? Red Hot Chili Peppers, minus the dynamite, plus the tube sock
  3. I don't know what your musical tastes are, but Primus is definitely worth a listen. Les Claypool is (in my opinion) the best bass player in the history of rock music (better than Flea and Geddy Lee) and bass is the primary instrument in the band (while guitar is more of a rhythm/texture). Sailing the Seas of Cheese is my favorite album. for me its 1. Larry Graham 2. Bootsy Collins 3. Jaco Pastorius 4. Les Claypool 5. Flea
  4. Vault is the official soft drink of crackheads, junkies and 8 year olds.
  5. and that music scene is critiscized for having a crapload of fadbands as well as a flat out cookie cutter sound. Van Halen is the only respectable band in that genre IMO.
  6. you might be surprised on that last statement.
  7. Primus 16th, ouch, they deserved a better shot in this tournament. better luck next time Les.
  8. this is really mindblowing, how could anyone think that tommy lee > david gilmour??
  9. Do You even remember EuroCup 2000??
  10. what did you expect?
  11. anyone have this on video?
  12. i am honestly hoping that our interim manager after dusty this year leads this team to over .500 forcing JH's hand to hire him full time. Von Joshua anyone?
  13. This better yield some results, I can't wait any longer.
  14. IIRC, we gave Clemens his first loss in 2004 after he started the year 8ish-0 and delayed his 300th victory as well. this has been the cubs as of the last 5 years we get owned routinely by guys like wes obermueller, but when living legends roll into town, we become all worldly.
  15. first and formost, that's a very out there explanation for Slappy's pisspoor performance, secondly, even if he put up the numbers you suggested, there's always the chance that resigning him could blow up in our face, like say the trade for him has so far?
  16. Pat and Ron said it was at his feet :?: That's how big Prince's feet are. You know what they say about guys with big feet big toes?
  17. this or cuban buying the cubs is our only chance at salvation
  18. not only was this a chance to earn respect but a chance to put soccer into the mainstream of sports in america ugh another 4 years
