Have these guys ever heard the term Live and Learn? I can't believe they still haven't figure out that not taking pitches is bad.

84 at the end of 6 likely no to make it all 9, if he does, it'll be 120 pitch game NO way he comes out with a no-hitter because of pitch count unless it's 130+. Even then it's not a gimme. Didn't Kerry Wood get into the 140's in 2003? I know he pitched in the 130's before. Wasn't that thru 5 innings though? :)

Why, Perez is the best #2 hitter on the whole team. I suggest that since our team looks like it doesn't care about playing anymore. The Cubs place a Tee or pitching machine (pretty much what our pitchers have been recently, this allows our pitchers never to injured again) on the mound and cardboard cut outs of our players on the field. This way when there is a game the actual player can twiddle their thumbs on the bench instead of on the field. We won't ever have to worry about payroll or injuries ever again.

Who the heck is the Home Plate Umpire today? On the Sportsline Game Center looks like Maddux is getting anything called unless it's right down the middle of the plate.
