  1. It wasn't that way pre-TJ surgery. I didn't think it was this bad post TJS. I remember it being much better than this.
  2. I never realized how weak Izturis' arm is. He may (I repeat, MAY) have a good glove, but he can barely get the ball to 1st.
  3. Almost looks like Hoye was behind the plate on that one.
  4. Well at least the Cubs will be the Astros early season catalyst instead of the middle of the season.
  5. I wonder how many calls will be blown at 3rd or along that base line. That moron Hoye/Boyd is at third today. Thankfully he only gets one turn behind the plate a series.
  6. GAH!!! I hate having to watch the game on the Astros broadcast. They just said something to the effect of, "a lot of fans at Wrigley often don't even know who the Cubs are playing, they just show up." I'm sure this is true for some, but the way they characterized it you'd think that was the majority.
  7. How Ro$enhau$ has any clients and why GMs continue to do business with this guy will forever escape me, but he somehow continues to succeed at what he does. What a snake!!! He must have some extremely incriminating pictures of GMs or owners throughout the league. On one hand, I hate that guy, but on the other would love to do what he does. Hopefully with a little more tact and ethics though.
  8. My mother was an English and Journalism major and my dad is an English professor, so yeah, I edit my posts for everything I catch.
  9. Sadly, the Bears did EXACTLY the opposite of what you rightly said needed to happen. I can't believe that the Colts thoroughly outplayed, outmuscled and outeverythinged the Bears. It's almost like the teams switched unis, except that the Colts had been playing better D in the playoffs than they did in the regular season. The Bears certainly picked the worst time of the year to go into hibernation. Very disappointing showing by the Bears. Kudos to the Colts for capitalizing on the Bears piss poor showing.
  10. There are plenty such people in south Louisiana and the Gulf Coast area. And it infuriates me every time I hear such nonsense in the media.
  11. Has this been posted yet? My apologies if it has. What an a-hole? I don't recall having seen something so blatantly anti-Grossman/Bears yet. What worthless tripe. http://sports.aol.com/nfl/superbowlxli/story_nodrambuie/_a/manning-vs-grossman-equals-no-contest/20070125135309990002
  12. Local moron and Saints homer here in BR sports radio, just stated that the Bears have no chance in the SB and that Manning was going to cement his legacy in the game w/o question. The moron said that the line ought to be 17 not 7. Talk about sour grapes and not recognizing their abilities. I LOVE IT!!! Thanks Jim, I'll be sure to pass the feelings along to the Bears. EDIT: Also said no doubt the better team lost. WOW!!!
  13. Also, "the Saints are a great story and unstoppable", "Drew Brees is the second coming", "only shot the Bears have is for bad weather", "Grossman sucks", BLAH, BLAH, BLAH.
  14. For those paying attention to weather conditions NOAA (THE weather authority. Weather Channel and others get their info from them as I recall) has Chicago with a 60% chance of precipitation and a high of 29.
  15. While you're likely right, can we at least have a wait and see attitude? While I did quote you, this is directed at people with that attitude in general, not you specifically.
