  1. While he defenitely has his faults (as any other manager does), I like Lou for the most part and I'd hate to see him leave this early. That being said it wouldn't upset or surprise me if he did, if for no other reason than to preserve his own sanity.
  2. Mostly talk radio of the sports and political variety and one morning radio show that has been on for years and IMO doesn't suck. I used to use the heck out of my scan button until it broke, now the preset radio station changer on the steering wheel gets a workout on those rare times that I listen to terrestrial music radio.
  3. His mistakes are glaring, but I kinda feel the same way.
  4. No need for patience right there. He got a pitch he liked and hit it to the wall Patience is NEVER a bad thing, IMO. It was the guys first pitch in the game. I agree patience is never bad, however with Aram he got a pitch he liked and drove it cant really complain. On NSBB, there's always a reason to complain. It's in the User Agreement. It's basic baseball. No reason not to take the first pitch in that situation. It's not like the guy grooved a fastball, IIRC. Eh, whatever. I just rewatched it-a fastball right down the middle. Ramirez hit the best pitch he was going to see in that at-bat. Maybe, maybe not. Regardless, if/when the Cubs lose, it definitely won't be because of that. JMO, but I've never really seen the value in swinging on 0-0 counts.

  7. It probably won't end well, but he's battling.... n/m. Good eye, Sori.
  8. Glad to see everybody's head was in the game.
  9. I love Rammy, but I really wish he'd cut down on that upper cut swing.
  10. The ball was fielded in the outfield, flipped to SS, then thrown to 1B. Ward could have beat that throw with some hustle. Eh, whatever. The only shot I saw was Sori reaching for the bag on the last step. He must have been dogging it at some point that was lost in the camera shot. When you explain it like that, it makes more sense.
  11. Maybe I missed something, but Soriano didn't appear to be dogging it down to 1st. As for the rest of the game yeah he kinda sucked.
  12. A baseball game b/n the Cubs and Sox! 2-1 Sox. Pagan with a single.
