  1. TMI!!!
  2. And therein lies the problem for them winning the west. And therein lies the reason they won it last year. He's not the reason they won it (sure he helped them win), but if LSU doesn't lose to Auburn and the rest of the season plays out as it did, it's irrelevant. Now, I know the "what if" game can be played all day long, but Arkansas is not near good enough (on their own) last year to win w/o help. Feel free to disagree, but it'll be hard to convice me otherwise. Anyway, this is a different year and I don't think Ark. is in a good position to win the west. We shall see.

  4. You're welcome. Thanks, but it didn't work out quite as well as I had hoped, but I'll take 1 run.
  5. No worries about replacing Jimbo Fisher? Miles had already taken some of the reigns of the offense. That's part of what hastened Fisher's departure. I think we'll be fine there. Vance, I sure wish I was as confident about Crowton as you are. Being a Bears fan and having lived through the Crowton era with them gives me some concern for LSU. Fisher wasn't nearly the "air it out" type that Crowton is/was and therefore slightly more closely aligned to Miles. I think the Miles/Fisher issue was more a control issue than a philosophy one. IMO, Crowton and Miles are opposites in the extreme and all in a year were the weapons aren't as good. 3 offensive first rounders, including the most important at QB (I like Flynn, but he's no JMR), are gone. Seems like the wrong year for such a shift. I still think they'll contend for the MNC (given all their "tough" games are at home, but it'll likely be more b/c of the defense than the O). FWIW, I'm not a fan of the Crowton hire, so he'll probably do very well.
  6. I gave Barrett partial blame from the outset. Z started the argument, Barrett chose to escalate, and they both chose to get physical at the same time. I don't recall Barrett escalating anything. He gestured towards DeRosa I believe it was to ask his opinion on something after Z bitched him out and then Z slugged him. Not even close. The first physical contact was each player grabbing at each other. Right before it happened Z was backing up and Barrett was moving toward him. Barrett was moving towards Z, however, it did not appear at all to be in a threatening manner. Eh, whatever, the Cubs are still sucking regardless.
  7. is it entirely out of the question that sammy came back because he had something to prove, and he genuinely likes playing baseball? I think it is absolutely possible, but there will always be people (not suggesting Derwood necessarily) who look to denigrate the motives of other people.
  8. That's the one I was going to say b/c I was actually there. I remember and appreciate most/all of the other moments, but being there really ingrains it in my memory.
  9. :x don't be mad at him, i was talking about it in the 5th and the first to mention it. if it doesn't happen, i'm the jinx Yeah, but did you say it explicitly.
  10. That wasn't nearly deep enough to send him. Damn.
  11. Hopefully the former. Nice shaving cream pie shot! :P
  12. What the hell was that camera angle all about?
  13. I think it might have been the right call.
  14. That made me giggle like a little girl.
  15. I, for one, don't want to turn on him, but he makes it very difficult not to.
