Nomar situation after the year..

Sign Nomar to a incentive deal, Ronny is the back-up. Best Case scenario - We get a great .300 + hitter. Worst Case scenario - Nomar gets hurt, Ronny Cedeno is our SS I think right now it would be foolish to hand it to Ronny. I DEFINATELY do not want Hendry to say Cedeno is his SS and sign Neifi as back up. Because I fear we've seen that play out already COUGHdubois/hollandsworthCOUGH. I'm afraid Hendry cannot trust Dusty with a rookie position player and a vet back-up. -
I think Pettite is due for a trip to the DL :lol:. how many starts has he gotten against the Cubs in the last 2 years... 1 and he left early due to pain right?? he's always scheduled to pitch against the Cubs and is scratched.

If we take 2/3 or even better 3/3 from Houston. There's a chance (albeit it small, and even if it mounts, will be blown in the last weeks anyways) we can make a run at this still.
