  1. midget's going to break it up with a bunt single right here.....
  2. yeah Cedeno and Murton could be playing :?
  3. Lots of pitches for Glendon that inning, and a couple of hard hit balls, and a web gem.... but he's still PERFECT.
  4. I wonder if Len used the Minor League forum to get all that info, The Guzman stat line is there and there is a post about the Chiefs all stars :)
  5. i'm just going to do this now, so he doesn't get our hopes up and crush them late. Rusch has a perfect game through 4 innings ;)
  6. did the Cubs and Cardinals switch jerseys for fun tonight???? :D
  7. it's too bad rusch will give these runs right back...
  8. crappy SP, crappy lineup yeah I got better things to do.
  9. Are you high??? He's young and bats left handed so he can only hit right handed pitchers, it's a proven fact. ;)
  10. Furcal (SS) Murton (LF) Lee (1B) Giles (RF) Ramirez (3B) Walker (2B Barrett © Patterson (CF) Prior Zambrano Wood Maddux Mitre/Hill/something or other Williams (long man) Wuertz Williamson Ohman BJ Ryan Dempster Blanco Greenberg Cedeno some more bench guys.
  11. crap I forgot Ronny too :(
  12. Here's mine 1. Eric Patterson 2. Matt Murton 3. Brandon Sing 4. Felix Pie (really considered not having him, but he had a awesome half) 5. Ryan Harvey 1. Ricky Nolasco 2. Rich Hill 3. Sean Gallagher 4. Renyel Pinto 5. Jermaine Van Buren
  13. Now that the minor league regular season is over what are everyone's top 5 propsects, 2 seperate lists for Pitchers and Position players. You should only take into account their 2005 stats, not past accomplishments or future promise. Guys like Cedeno/Mitre/Hill/Murton count.
  14. What do you feel is the teams confidence in Cedeno. If they don't get Furcal, will Cedeno (assuming Nomar is let go) be given a fair shot, or will it be another Hollandsworth/Dubois situation that I'm afraid of (With Neifi getting most of the PT).
  15. I personally think they should just amputate the foot. (i'm joking of course)
  16. just like to say that this should be Sergio Mitre or Rich Hill starting.
  17. As documented in Moneyball, Billy Beane got mad at the players that the then manager was using and told him who to use and it seemed like it was big deal (as in that doesn't happen often). Guess what Beane got a new manager the next season....
  18. I'm 100 percent confident if Neifi is signed, and Hendry says that Cedeno is the starter.. We will see Hollandsworth/Dubois V.2. Cedeno will start against lefties, get really hot about a month in the Media will clamor to get him more playing time. Neifi gets a couple of big pinch hits and Neifi is back to starting more than ever, Cedeno gets cold and stops hitting and than is traded for a nothing prospect.
  19. EFFF YOU DUSTY!!!!
  20. Well that was 90 some years of built up suckinees, well at least 20 some years :). (Also I think the fact that you were a Cards fan in Chicago didn't help ;))
  21. I've never been to busch so my experience is only what a see on tv, obviously slanted and biased. But in my experiences at Wrigley the Cubs fan does not take themselves nearlly as seriously as a Cards fan. A Cubs fan is their to enjoy the game, enjoy the atmosphere and maybe get drunk. Another thing I've noticed (maybe swayed by the losing ways this year) is the Cubs get heckled more than the opposing team, going back with my not taking themselves as seriously.
  22. I would just like it to be know that Sergio Mitre should be starting tomorrow. What a joke.
