    you know what it's pretty apparent that Maddux is really out for another ring. I think if Hendry convinced him a couple of his 9million could really help strengthen the team, mabye he would do it.

    I think that WHIP might be a bit deceptive. He gave up 6 hits and 1 BB, with only one of those hits being for extra bases. I'm curious as to how many of those 5 hits were legit. Remember that defense at that level is not all that advanced. yeah, I wasn't actually serious with the bad WHIP.

    did anybody watch Pawelek?? His Boise WHIP is an astronomical 2.34, but only allowed 1 unearned run.

    Is this still a save situation b/c dempster was in in the 8th??? yes, because he came in during a save situation it could be 100-3 and still be a save for him.

    I've never used CBS Sportsline, I use Yahoo Sports, it's got a bit of a delay but not to bad.
