    I'm kind of skeptical of a fantasy baseball radio host in South Florida's source on the Cubs manager interviews.

    I was starting to prefer Espada, but I don't think he was the slam dunk he was being billed as. The main thing will be his lineups and bullpen management, Espada was probably more likely to get those right but we will have to wait and see.

    I wonder if the Mets have asked Espada yet for an interview? If he picked the Cubs for today when he was headed to New York already it's probably a good sign that he wants this job.

    according to MLB Trade Rumors Cubs (and Mets and Pirates) requested an interview with Sam Fuld for the manager position, he turned everybody down.
