    I don't know, we'll have to wait to see if he can pitch or not to know for sure. I wonder how many other position players, who pitched at least 1 inning, retired with an ERA of 0.00 ? I believe in one of Brenly's MANY Diamondbacks stories, he said he had Grace pitch an inning in a blowout and I'm pretty sure he didn't allow any runs.

    Is there anywhere to see Tejada's minor league numbers. Becuase I just read moneyball and when Beane callled Tejada "MR. Swings at Everything" I kind of wanted to compare him to what I've been hearing about Felix. Especially considering he called him that during the 2002 season when he was the AL MVP. Than I kind of fell backed to Earth when I realized "Mr. Swings at Everything" to Billy Beane could be a bit exagerated. But anyways is there any comparison between Tejada & Pie. If Pie comes close to Tejada that wold be awesome.

    At this point I think seeing Mulder for a day game at Wrigley benefits the Cubs.

    How come they change official scoring for the All-Star game, shouldn't Clement have been the winning pitcher since he was the pitcher of record when it became an official game after 5 innings??

    NL's going to take this. DLEE will be 2-2, 2 hr 6RBI, and an IBB in his last AB :shock:

    Plus they actually took a dive in a World Series, excuse me while I feel bad for them.....

    Gets three at bats or how many ever innings, Pujols vacates the DH and plays 1st and they just PH in the DH spot (which would go to the pitcher)

    Just got in the mail 3 free tickets for a game over labor day weekend Sept 2-3, because of the conditions of the July 4th game (vs. Peoria). 2/3 reasons they gave the tickets had nothing to do with my group. * Game was delayed for an hour and 20 mins * The Jesse White tumblers were unable to perform (that's to bad :o ) * Their was a malfunction with the fireworks and a third of them never went of including the final (didn't even stay for them) Gotta believe they are taking a hit financially, especially considering they are doing it on a holiday weekend.

    a wild card for the pen will be Scott Williamson. How soon can he return and can he be a reliable set-up man.

    We got at least one thing going for us Mark Prior historically OWNS in September. And big Z did last year (have an amazing Sept.). Both Wood & Prior should have very fresh arms for the stretch.

    I bought the game from MLB.com so it's on my computer, I suppose I could do an unofficial tally if no one finds it out in the next couple of days.

    They probably wanted to replace Pie with a Cubs World OF, and who else is there from the Cubs system?
