  1. Can someone post the mid season top 25, not sure if thats a no-no since it's premium content but I just want the list no analysis. Thanks.
  2. Ok after tonights game here is the wild card standings Braves* - 51-40 (.560, --GB) Marlins - 45-43 (.511, 4.5GB) Cubs - 45-44 (.506, 5GB) Phillies - 46-45 (.505, 5GB) Astros - 44-44 (.500, 5.5GB) Mets - 45-45 (.500, 5.5GB) *Braves are 1.5 out of their division lead, and will more than likely take that in the next week and not relinquish it.
  3. 104 RBI is still 104 RBI, which by my count is pretty good....
  4. Cubs bullpen cast-off night Borowski 1.0IP, 1 H, 0BB, OK, OR Sisco 1.0IP, 1H, 0BB, 2K, 0R Farnsworth 1.0IP, 0H, 1BB, 2K, 0R, 1SV
  5. JoBo is pitching for the D-rays right now. Gave up a single, 2 fielders choices and a pop up.
  6. Somebody needs to find out where Glavine found his time machine, becuase he dueled with Smoltz.
  7. True, and if the Braves lose, we'd be 4 games back (just imagine if they could have salvaged at least 1 of those games in ATL)
  8. P.S. we still suck, alot P.S.S. The Cubs 5 game winning streak is the longest in MLB, if the A's win tonight they would also have a 5 game winning streak P.S.S.S. To break up the optimisim, man do we suck!
  9. Wild Card Braves 50-40 (.556 - playing Mets) Phillies 46-44 (.511 - playing Marlins) Mets 45-44 (.506 - playing Braves) Marlins 44-43 (.506 - playing Phillies) Astros 44-43 (.506 -playing Cardinals) Cubs 45-44 (.506 - already won) So with 4 of the 5 teams in front of us playing eachother, ground will be definately be gained on at 2 teams. And the team tied with the Cubs is playing the number 1 team in the NL. Sips Kool-Aid, I can't believe I'm saying it but we are right in the thick of things.
  10. Carlos looks so much better in pinstripes. :(
  11. Yeah this is a strange weekend with Mets facing Braves. Who are also both ahead of us, I'd guess it'll be the same as Cards/Astros. Have Braves beat up on the Mets with the Assumption that the Braves win the division and Nationals fall out.
  12. What only won by 10?, i'm unimpressed LOSERS.
  13. Hopefully G-Unit will be back to form today with his time off.
  14. I hope that get Remmy in there, I don't remeber the last time he's pitched.
  15. maybe they don't want to overextend Wood with the 10 run cushion.
  16. It goes without saying, It's great that the 2004 ARAM is back and looks to be here to stay!!
  17. While it's hard to get excited about Wood dominating the Pirates, it's great to see 0 walks.
  18. Anybody want to start a search party for Cedeno. I think Dusty may have made him his personal chef :(
  19. That would be great if he was a proven post season pitcher. 4 starts with none past the divisonal series doesn't do much for me. I'll eat two crows when he dominates the postseason.
  20. Hawk than put them down in order in the 8th with 2Ks.
  21. Hawkins comes in for the Giants with 2 on 2 out and a 2 run lead, gives up a ground rule double to make it 4-3. Goes 2-0 than intentionaly loads the bases. He strikes out Werth to end the threat. Hawk always walking on the wild side.
  22. I think my post killed it :( The Rangers were very Cubbish, with their swinging early and often.
  23. What was up with him going to the mouth, doesn't pretty much every pitcher do that??
