  1. Why exactly is So Taguchi getting the DLee treatment??
  2. Prior please don't suck this inning.
  3. I'll be there Tuesday, Yah. Harvey is guarenteed to hit a home run, becuase he has in all Chiefs games I've ever been to (all 2 of them)
  4. I'm thinking he'll go with a softer shade than usual. The real question is, will he go with waterproof eyeliner so it doesn't come off when he sweats? And/Or cries over strike calls
  5. Adam Dunn hit a walk-off home run today, his 28th home run. I also heard he saved a baby from a burning building on his way home from the game.
  6. I'm not calling him a defensive genius, but I know for a fact that he got a throw from Patterson last year on a sac fly attempt for a succesful 8-2 DP
  7. E-Patt is 2-2. Harvey is getting close to breaking in to the top 20 all time single season RBI list for the MWL. 8)
  8. I think if a deal is made, it won't be like Nomar last year. Hendry will not make a deal for an expiring contract, he'll probably pick up a guy with a Dunn-like contract... young with a couple years left but will about to be too expensive for his current team (I.E. picking up Aramis in 2003). I don't think he is terribly confident in this years team, which is why he says if he makes a deal it will help now and in the future.
  9. Just got front row for the Chiefs game on Tuesday, hopefully Nomar will be there. Butt E-Patt, Harvey, Fuld & the gang will be good enough for me \:D/
  10. Pat & Ron said that Hilll was a good possibility. Would have to DL Wood, or send some one done. Mitre could be sent down and Hill could stay and pitch for Wood or go to the pen (hopefully not) or they could send him down and bring up Welley after the start (or Williamson if he's ready).
  11. Didn't know about that extreme of a split, I don't know. I'm definately sticking with my want for ARAM to hit 4th (seems so dumb to have to point that out) Aram - vs. Left: .360 vs. Right: .299 Burny - vs. Left: .253 vs. Right: .292 Conclusion Aramis is freaking on fire and should be batting clean-up. I'm sure Fred could make a pretty chart, but he is hitting .429 with 7HR and 14RBI over his last 10 games. With only 3 strikeouts!
  12. Neifi and/or Hollandsworth need a day (or week (or month)) off, I hope we see Cedeno or Murton. I'd also like to see a proper line-up configuration, you know with the proper clean-up guy batting 4th regardless of what hand the pitcher uses.
  13. Williamson with a strong outing 1IP 2K, no hits or walks. I just hope Dusty doesn't Fox him.
  14. A couple of things, I missed the thread because I wasn't here but I have a few questions Anybody remember what he said, that's pretty low. I wonder if this happened swinging and missing at Big Z's heaters. :D And Wow Jerome Williams, must have put on a gutsy performance
  15. Yes but an article at Cubs.com says the team is considering bringing him up or letting Glendon pitch. It's not uncommon for pitchers to do some work 2-3 days before an outting. He maybe available depending on the number of pitches he through in 4.1 It's not the when, because he pitched on the same day Wood did, say he's on the right rest, it's the crappyness of the outing that is in question. I still want to see Hill get the start though.
  16. The Iceman is a perplexing case, he was one of the more reliable relievers last year and now he can't get out minor leaguers.
  17. crap I was going to try to buy tickets before it was out. Hopefully the whole series doesn't sell out, before I'm able to pick up a couple of tickets. ALSO thumbs up to this DJAXXFAN guy I guess he's not a troll
  18. ahhhh, The minor league thread, my daily escaped from the crappyness that is the big league team :o
  19. Why exactly is Hollansdworth get over 75% of the starts, he can't hit and now his "specialty" fielding, he pooches. I'm sorry but Burnitz had just a couple of innings earlier made a much harder catch, but Holla is resigned to playing it off the wall and messing it up at that.
  20. Hopefully Todd can come trough in the 10th!
  21. Hmmm who get the walk off Rodriguez or Pujols, I'd put money on either one doing. To bad bringing out Z will give him the loss.
