The "-ak" bit is really swallowed, so when it's said you can't really tell whether they're saying "-ak", "-ek" or "-ik". Same with the first bit. It could be "Dah-" or "Du-" or "Dough". So pick your favourite, put PAIR in the middle, and say it fast.

Is that how you pronounce it? I thought it was dough-PEER-ek The middle bit, which is stressed, is definately pronounced PAIR.

Sounds like he's missing with the breaking ball and everyone is sitting on the FB. Yep, that and his stuff just looks ordinary.

Gooz looked like Roberto Novoa out there in that inning. Almost entirely FB, throwing it really hard, not really much control over where it was going.

I like Gooz's changeup. Good late movement. The curveball he's thrown about twice now, it's a bit big and loopy, neither was thrown for a strike.

Walk on 3-2 pitch, not controlling that FB. But he's throwing it really hard, really popping, hitters struggling to catch up to it, fouling it off late on it.
