    Who would take him? It would be another Hundley trade, although we wouldn't get anything close to Karros or Grudz in return. the O's :) I'm sure the Pirates would have no problem giving us Craig Wilson and Zach Duke for him. Are you crazy? I'd want Mike Gonzalez, too.

    Who cares about unloading the contract...swallowing that montrocity would be worth it if they'd just release him. I'd rather have Sing out there for the league minimum. I agree, but the Cubs just aren't going to eat that contract.

    He will. Dusty makes his lineup based on position, not by player. CF 2B 1B 3B etc So, whoever the 2nd baseman is bats 2nd. Period.

    Well, you can't expect TOO much intelligence out of Dusty. I mean, he trotted out pretty much our best lineup 2 games in a row vs. the Reds. His brain probably hurts now from all that thinking.

    Even if he doesn't struggle this year, maybe he's just one of those slow starters. Sandberg was pretty much useless at the plate until May 1st.

    Maddux needs about 2-3 starts to shake off all the rust, too. I'm worried.

    Z can only help us every 5th game. Even if he's fine, we still have 4 other starters to worry about.

    6 runs is pretty good for the offense. Not worried about the Offense I'm worried about the sloppy defense play. This game was lost by lousy pitching from Rusch and Williams. Without Wood, Prior and Miller, its going to be a long year. I was worried about this team tanking in April and then they'd be so far in the hole in May that Wood, Prior, and Miller couldn't dig them back out again.

    6 runs is pretty good for the offense. good point I just got the last inning. Did the bats look ok, or was it the same as last year? I know all the runs came off of 3 2-run homers.

    I'm gonna miss the game. Stupid job. Hate world, kill everyone. Or not. Anyway, I'd watch out for Dunn. He'll want to make up for his misadventures in LF yesterday.

    I predict by the end of the year we will be looking at Murton, Lee, and Ramirez as solid big boppers. . 25 homers for Murton is not out of the question, IMO.
