    Izturis is tied for the lead among NL shortstops with 5 Errors and has the lowest SS fielding percentage in the majors. We already know that he can't hit. Why the hell is he in the lineup after an off day? Because Izturcrap is Hendry's pet. Sure would be nice to have Maddux as a #5 starter right now. Yeah. The Dodgers got the better of that trade.

    I think Derrek Lee ought to be moved down in the order. Not because he's not hitting-- he's on fire right now. However, the homers are not coming. That's fine, because he drives in runs. How about moving him to 5th in the order to get him more RBI opportunities until the homers start coming again? Maybe something like Soriano Theriot Jones Ramirez Lee Barrett Murton/Floyd/Pie Izzy Pitcher Would this work? He'd be up more often with RISP, a perfect chance to take advantage of his hot hitting.

    after this half inning I'd rather it happen now, but if you say so don't they have to play the bottom half to make it official? I thought it was just 5 complete innings for an official game? Yes, but if losing, doesn't the home team need one last AB? Yes, I believe we can actually lose now if they call it. Since they can expunge our last half inning. I think this is exactly the situation that they altered in the rules over the winter. Isn't this where they would suspend the game and restart from this point tomorrow before the 2nd game? I'd be ok with that.

Although, I wouldn't be suprised. It's a way I haven't seen them lose yet.
