  1. I worry that the rotation, outside of Z, isn't strong enough to get us very far in October, assuming we make the playoffs.
  2. If he was still slumping I'd be in favor of it, but now I'm on the fence.
  3. I wish I could be an arrogant, incompetent, pompous ass at work and not get fired.
  4. Can someone jab Pence in the eye with a sharp stick? That would be super.
  5. I'll settle for a walk. Or a GIDP. He's doing his best to play himself out of a job. I'll have to thank him for it Hopefully he'll be gone and Pie will be back by this time next week.
  6. What does a double play result in? Something I just said aloud which I can't post here or it'll get me banned for a day.
  7. Edmonds GIDP. It's not happening tonight, boys. Hopefully Gallagher can get it done tomorrow.
  8. Edmonds, if you homer here I'll stop making disparaging assumptions about your personal life.... for a while.
  9. There we go. Now there was a beached whale of a man. http://content.clearchannel.com/Photos/sports_photos/MLB/MISC/eric_gregg_GI3.jpg Wasn't he the one that was calling strikes a foot and a half off the outside corner in the 1997 NLCS? Yes, did anyone else see the irony in the Braves bitching about pitchers getting too much off the corner? They never got that much, though. Gregg was literally calling them 18 inches off the corner.

  11. I don't get how he can be that obese in a job that requires you to move around. It is a joke. Who was the really, really, really fat umpire back in the day? I want to say he was fired and ended up suing MLB. Eric Gregg. He tendered his resignation during some umpire's union power play, MLB accepted it, he sued to get his job back, failed, then died.
  12. Dempster walked the state of Texas then gave up a grand slam to Hunter Pence.
  13. I want to do unspeakably evil things to CB Bucknor.
  14. Wow, the umpires have been terrible this year all over baseball. But yet, absolutely nothing will be done about it.
  15. Is someone up? I'd start to have Lieber warming up as the long man in case Demp implodes.
