  1. Lee flies to Edmonds, runners at 2nd and 3rd, 1 out.
  2. He's not OPSing .400 Actually, .364 yucky He's probably down on himself and frustrated as hell with all the crap he had to put up with when he was up, and now that we signed Edmonds he probably won't be up the rest of the year barring injury. I'd be pissed off and playing crappy too.
  3. Team chemistry is bullcrap. The 1970's A's teams used to get into fistfights on a regular basis and they won 3 World Series.
  4. I thought that was tomorrow so he'd get 2 days off in a row.
  5. Geovany Soto will only be allowed to bat once a week if you're going to start limiting the Cubs current awesomeness.
  6. Pretty sure Houston did that a couple of years ago Also, Francisco Cordova Ricardo Rincon though that was in 10 innings I don't think I could rob a pitcher of a once-in-a-lifetime experience over 20 or 30 pitches. I'd rather be more cautious with him later, get him out of a game or two early sometime down the road. I'd have someone warming up and ready in the pen and tell him "if one guy gets a hit, you're coming out."
  7. I'm predicting he'll either make an out or get on base. Bucknor is behind the plate tonight? Demp is gonna be on the opposing end of some BS calls, methinks.
  8. Nobody is taking a pitcher out up 3-2 in the 5th with 1st and 2nd and an out. He's a DP away from getting out of it. How would the great Dusty handle this one? Who cares? He'd leave him out there for 385 pitches and blow his arm out. /lolz You learn fast, young grasshopper.
  9. You just knew he'd make a great catch or get a crucial hit in his first few games with us, saddling us all with this conflict of whether to cheer or boo. Why is this even a question? Like it or not, he's a Cub. Booing him for making a great play is ---SOAPDROPPING--- stupid. I never meant to say I wanted to boo him for the catch. I meant we all hate him so much, then he makes a great play like that and we have to cheer him, albeit reluctantly in some cases.
  10. You just knew he'd make a great catch or get a crucial hit in his first few games with us, saddling us all with this conflict of whether to cheer or boo. Fate is laughing its ass off right now.
  11. I say this at least once in every series in Houston, but I'll say it again: I hate that damned hill in CF.
