He's a bad manager? Never been impressed with Hurdle. I'd hate to manage the Rockies. No matter what you do your pitchers will always suck, and your hitters will crap their pants when the pop ups that they usually expect to see go over the wall at home get caught on the road Of course the park factors are lower recently with the humidor and all, but its still rough I still can't believe MLB allows the humidor. Would they allow that in any other stadium? Would a Cubs pitcher be able to stick game balls in a humidor next time the wind is blowing out?

eh whatever I've sorta stopped caring about the other teams in the division with this trade, as long as he's healthy theres absolutely no way we don't make the playoffs * *jinxed them right here I'm saving this post. If you jinxed them I'm hunting you down like a dog.

he was covered in the magical STL pixie dust that turns anyone, even the sh##@iest players into studs while wearing the Uniform. It's quite remarkable. I need some of that pixie dust. I hate them. I should have punched LaRussa out. LaRussa flipped off my brother back in '92. What'd your brother do? He was 7. He asked for an autograph before a Brewers/A's game in Milwaukee. Tony gave him the finger.

It's pretty amazing how much his defense has prgressed since coming here. He's just lazy and likes to lay down in the dirt when he catches the ball Lazy bum. Hendry ought to trade him.

Now that we have Harden, do you see Hendry making any other moves of significance, or making marginal moves for the bench and/or bullpen? If we add another pitcher, do you see us adding Burnett? Would it be a Wolf/Maddux-type? What about decent pitchers from teams hopelessly out of it like Harang or Aaron Cook? As for offense, would Milton Bradley or Jose Guillen be available for CF? Both can be "clubhouse cancers," but both are having good offensive years. This would obviously force Edmonds to the bench, but it would be worth it to have either guy in the lineup. So, what do you think? Is Hendry done?

Harang's been terrible ever since Dusty pitched him for 63 pitches out of the pen 2 days after he threw 103. Then 3 days later he got shelled throwing 73 more pitches. LOL. You can't make this stuff up. Hrm. Maybe I don't want to trade for him anymore.

Was on a "Cubs Cruise" on the lake after a cubs-cards game in '01, Kerry was on the deck in the back of the boat signing autographs. I was in line waiting for Kerry to sign a baseball. Then his fiance I believe, Sarah was standing by his side when a bystander from the top deck leaned over and puked all over her. She was not so hot at that moment. How did Kerry react? I wouldn't hold that against Sara. However, if I was Kerry, that guy would need a Medivac helicopter. As a man who has puked off of his share of balconies, you don't always plan to puke off of balconies, and when you do end up puking off of balconies you definitely don't have the wherewithal to check for innocent bystanders. Doesn't matter. It's a matter of principle. Puke on my centerfold wife = paramedics needed. So if your wife was only average looking you'd have let it slide??

I've been wanting him for years now. If we acquire him the offense would be incredible! As much as I never thought I'd say it..... Edmonds has been doing quite well for us. But yes, Bradley would be great until he goes ape poopy and kills someone.

He's in my top 3 for sure. Even if he'd never done anything else of note after the 20 K game, he made me a fan for life that drizzly May afternoon.
