    Either that, or he sits on the bench and the deadly duo of Mabry and Taguchi puts up an OPS of 1.000. .333 with a single and a run scored so far. Pujols goes yard while he's on first. Great way to get your first career hit.

    I don't know how anybody could. There are, as I am loathe to admit, several guys on the Cardinals that are just about impossible to hate. Of course, that list doesn't include Matt Morris or Jim Edmonds. But I'm sure they make up for it for the rest of them, right? I have the same feeling about Lee, I have to admit that he seems like a decent guy. Now I just want to know how he ended up a Cub? :wink: Who do you hate then? Everyone on the Cubs is cool. We don't really have a Edmonds or Morris equivalent (Z has immunity from anything bad) and certainly not a Kline equivalent. Well Zambrano and Dusty are the only guys I would say qualify for the hate category. I'm not a fan of Garciapara either, but I wouldn't say I hate him. They are much more likeable than last years team, I'll give you that.

    Three guys deserve the start. Carpenter is one of them. He's pitched outstanding the last month and a half, he's won 13 games and has a great WHIP. Of course Larussa is going to start him, as would any other intelligent manager in his place. Everyone is going to get to pitch, just relax. Your letting your cardinal hatred cloud your judgement.

    No, he's too busy saying that white guys can't play in the heat and comparing Corey Patterson to Lou Brock. Yeah I know that's crazy. Corey (despite his performance this year) still has the potential to be far better than the HORRIBLY OVERRATED Brock. Brock may be a tad overrated, but Corey has almost no chance of equaling Brock's numbers. Brock had over 3,000 hits, 938 stolen bases (118 in 1974) and was a career .293 hitter. Corey has 522 hits, about 83 stolen bases, and a batting average somewhere around .250. Only 5 years in the league, but it just ain't gonna happen.

    Just FYI, I'm a Cardinals fan and I voted for Lee. As much as I hated to do it, right now he's having the better year and thus deserves the spot over Pujols. Besides, Pujols will most likely get the DH spot anyway...right?
