    What the hell, the Cubs aren't on WGN for the last game of the year? I haven't really watched a game in a few weeks, but I was planning on watching the last game. I wanted to see it just for the season ending montage.

    Got back from a trip out west Sunday night. I bought some In-N-Out before I left to take home. Even 2 days old, it was still glorious.

    5 Guys. In & Out is definitely good, but the burgers aren't as big or filling as the ones from 5 Guys, plus the 5 Guys' fries are worth it by themselves. The In & Out fries are just typical fries. I think In N Out is plenty filling, considering you can get a double double, 3 x 3, or 4 x 4 depending on how hungry you are. I usually just get a double double, but have gotten a 3 x 3 when I'm especially hungry.

    I have been to both in the same week before. 5 Guys is good, but it's not In N Out good.

    I've only had a couple of those, but Firehouse has awesome subs. The bread is lightly toasted and warm, and they use a lot of meat and cheese. They don't skimp on it like Subway does. Firehouse also has great sweet tea. I don't usually get a drink when I go out to eat (I usually get water), but Firehouse is the one place that I get the combo so I can get their sweet tea.

    I never knew about those pictures of Steve Stone until these game threads. I saw Stone doing the White Sox game on WGN earlier today and I can't look at him the same now. The image is burned into my brain.

    And on to the 25th. One guy is 1 for 11 on the night. A pitcher for Texas pitched 13 innings in relief. Mr. 1 for 11 is now 2 for 12 with an RBI for Texas. Texas up 3-2 going into the bottom of the 25th. EDIT: And BC goes quietly in the 25th. Texas wins.

    The only reason to eat at Wendy's is the Frosty. And it is an awesome reason. I'll agree with that. The Frosty is great.

    I know it's strange and petty, but I don't like Wendy's because they use non-bleached bread (it's yellow!!) and the patties are square. Yes, those are my reasons for not eating there.

    I've had a burgers from a lot of the places mentioned in the poll, as well as ones mentioned in this thread (Backyard Burger, Five Guys, In N Out), and I would say In N Out is easily the best burger. Whenever I go to CA, In N Out is the very first stop I make.
