    What is the over / under on Barney's batting average at the all star break? I am saying .275. And he will still be batting 2nd every game.

    Wierd. I figured Snyder would go down anyway when Johnson comes back Monday but I wonder why the need for Coleman.

    Even in the waiver process, Aramis will have his NTC/10-5 rights available to him. If someone on waivers claims him, he still has the option to reject the claim. So basically, if he'll agree to waive his 10-5 rights anyway, we'll be able to get something for him in trade. I was just about to ask that. I really don't get why he wants to stay that bad, or maybe that just public relations spin by his agent? its not like he would come out and say 'yeah trade me please' unless his name were Milton Bradley I kind of took the agent's statements to be a way of sending a message that he isn't desperate to move to a contender so don't even think of asking him to waive the vesting player option that kicks in if he is traded.

    I can understand why he would start rooting for the Cardinals but why does he have to burn all his Cubs stuff? I guess a better question is why am I even wasting any time wondering about why this idiot is doing something that has no impact on my life?

    It's called clutch. That same ground ball with Ramirez up would have been a routine out, but the clutchness of Barney forced the error.

    replay > no replay. Always. This case is a fault of the umpires. It should only be used to change obvious mistakes. Using it the way it was here defeats the purpose unless the umps had some better camera angle WGN didn't. Plus I am really disappointed that the douchebag Phillie fan that interfered doesn't get to have his ass kicked in the parking lot.

    Sullivan has no inside information, this is just wishful thinking by him. He has been trying to run Zambrano out of town for years. There is no way Hendry could justify trading Zambrano and losing his best starter as bad as the replacements have been so far.
